At IXRACE, official technical partner of Team 3ART and from Green Team 42, we experienced another intense round of the World Endurance Championship at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
A week of changeable weather
From the private tests on Thursday, conditions proved particularly unstable with alternating rain and dry periods. This challenging environment required the technical teams to constantly adjust the bikes' settings.
On Friday, free practice and qualifying took place on a changing track. Despite these conditions, performance improved lap after lap, allowing Team 3ART to secure 11th place in the Stock category on the starting grid.
Team 3ART: a superb climb back to the top 7 Stock
A complicated start to the race
From the outset, a technical problem forced two pit stops to work on the airbox and replace a faulty sensor. The team then restarted from 44th position overall and 19th in the Stock class.
A constant climb
Despite this setback, the drivers put in fast and consistent stints in ever-changing conditions. Their comeback gradually took shape as the hours passed, thanks to a solid strategy and flawless execution. The arrival of Lucas Mahias to the team also made a significant impact on this round, bringing experience and intensity to a demanding environment.
A great reward upon arrival
After a complete and controlled race, Team 3ART crossed the finish line in 7th position in the Stock category and 17th in the overall standings.
Green Team 42: a solid race in Production
Green Team 42 finished this round in 41st position overall and 9th in the Production category. In difficult conditions and against stiff competition, the team maintained consistency and completed the event, confirming its strength in the championship.
IXRACE, as the official technical partner, leaves Belgium with a great performance from Team 3ART and a solid Green Team 42 in Production, proof that consistency and management remain essential in this championship.
