We were committed to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Motorcycle Race 2026, held on April 18 and 19, 2026, one of the major events of the World Endurance Championship (EWC).
On this occasion, IXRACE was alongside two partner teams: the Kawasaki Green Team 42 Lycée Sainte-Claire, entered in the Production category, and the Yamaha #36 3ART Best Of Bike Hamaguchi, in the Superstock category.
An extremely demanding 2026 edition
The 24 Hours of Le Mans motorcycle race once again confirms its reputation as one of the toughest events in the world of motorcycling. Sixty machines started the race, and only 40 crossed the finish line after 24 hours. Between managing the night, accumulated fatigue, and mechanical or sporting setbacks, simply finishing this race is an achievement in itself.
The final victory went to the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team, at the end of an intense race held in front of more than 76,700 spectators.
Kawasaki Green Team 42: a controlled race full of twists and turns
Competing in the Production category, the Kawasaki #42 Green Team composed of Julien Bonnet, Alexy Negrier, Jules Blanc and Corentin Garcia secured a magnificent 2nd place in their category after a perfectly controlled race.
Having qualified 2nd in its category, the team quickly took the lead in the Production category.
The relays by Alexy Negrier, Julien Bonnet, and Corentin Garcia ensured a consistent pace. By the 8th hour, Green Team 42 was in 3rd place in its category. During the night, it even regained the lead at the 16th hour with a several-lap advantage.
An incident at the end of the race reduced the gap, but the team remained strong until the finish. Alexy Negrier crossed the finish line, securing a 2nd place finish in the Production class.
Yamaha #36 3ART: a great dynamic in Superstock
Competing in the Superstock category, the Yamaha #36 3ART, composed of Robin Mulhauser, Loïc Arbel, Jan Mohr and Luca De Vleeschauwer, shows good potential from the start of the race.
Starting 12th in their category, the team got off to a good start with an excellent first stint, followed by solid lap times from Luca De Vleeschauwer. After a more challenging section, the crew responded and climbed back up to the top 15 in the Superstock category, confirming their strong momentum.
After about 5 hours and 30 minutes of racing, progress stopped, but the team retained a positive experience, rich in lessons and revealing of its potential and fighting spirit.
Through our partnerships with Kawasaki Green Team 42 and Yamaha 3ART, we affirm our commitment to the World Endurance Championship and our desire to support teams in some of the most demanding racing conditions.
